Baylor Engage Summer Fellowship
The purpose of the Baylor Engage summer fellowship is to provide an 8–10-week opportunity for undergraduate students to integrate research, service, learning, and professional development through a summer placement focused on civic and social innovation.
The primary goal of the Baylor Engage fellowship is to acquire hands-on experience that serves to deepen and advance a student’s understanding of how their own work contributes to the public good and to do so when possible as a team.
The fellowship is designed for students interested in advancing their study in the social sector, social justice, and cross-sector collaboration for change.
Students reflect together on who they are, what they are doing, why their work in the community matters as well as the impact the experience has on their time at Baylor and beyond.
Local organizations host a team of students (2-5) to advance a substantive project that furthers the organization’s innovative capacity.
