Undergraduate Research: Faculty Resources
The Characteristics of Excellence-The Council on Undergraduate Research
Creating a campus culture that values and rewards undergraduate research is essential for sustaining a robust undergraduate research program. CUR believes that such a culture emerges when institutions have a scholarly faculty and leaders committed to providing high-quality undergraduate research experiences for students; broad disciplinary participation in undergraduate research; opportunities that are equitable, accessible to a wide cross-section of students; a strong emphasis on ethical conduct in research; and connected to career readiness competencies.
Undergraduate Research-Engineering Unleashed
Several KEEN (Kern Entrepreneurial Engineering Network) schools (including Baylor and Dr. Kenneth Van Treuren) came together to develop workshops, videos, and activities for you to involve undergraduate students in research - and connect the entrepreneurial mindset.

URSA Grants for Faculty: ALURE Proposals
The vision for this URSA funding opportunity is to provide an avenue for faculty to fund undergraduate research projects, classes, or programs that engage a group of students. Whereas the student-initiated URSA Research Grants are designed to allow individual students to write a proposal and to have an apprentice-type research experience with a mentor, these “large-scale” faculty URSA Grants are designed to give faculty freedom to recruit a team of students and develop or support effective undergraduate research initiatives. The guidelines for the proposal are found here.
