Ginger Hanchey specializes in Old English poetics, and in particular, how oral traditional features of Old English poetry contribute to its meaning. She also has interest and professional experience in teaching and learning in higher education.

Linguistics (English)
Clay Butler's areas of interest are linguistic pragmatics (i.e., how language is used in actual conversations), sociolinguistics (i.e., how society and social identity influence language choices), and culture (i.e., how language and culture interact).
