The Churchill Scholarship

The Award

The Churchill Scholarship will fund a Master’s of Philosophy in Pathology at Cambridge University.

At Baylor

Emily earned her BS in Biology with a minor in Anthropology. She was actively involved in Alpha Phi Omega, a service organization that serves in the surrounding Waco community. She was also deeply involved in the Barr Laboratory investigating the pathogenic impact of arboviruses like Chikungunya, Dengue, and Zika.

Her Future

After completing her MPhil, Emily will pursue her PhD in Infectious Disease and Immunology to further the understanding of how certain viruses impact human health around the world.
