The Critical Language Scholarship

The Award

The Critical Language Scholarship will fund 8 weeks of intensive Azerbaijani language instruction and structured cultural enrichment experiences through the Azerbaijani University of Languages.

At Baylor

Kaitlyn will earn her BA in Mathematics and Slavic and East European Studies (SEES) with a minor in Russian. She is involved in Baylor’s AFROTC program, Arnold Air Society, and Baylor’s women’s club soccer team.

Her Future

After graduation, Kaitlyn will commission as a second lieutenant in the Air Force. She hopes to commission as a pilot and eventually compete for selection as an AF Foreign Area Officer.
