The Boren Graduate Fellowship

The Award

The Boren Graduate Fellowship funds intensive language acquisition in regions of the world that are critical to U.S. National Security. Upon completion, participants are required to work in federal government agencies.

At Baylor

Maria earned her BA in International Studies with a minor in German. She was involved in Model United Nations, Baylor in Washington, and Delta Phi Alpha German Honor Society.

Her Future

After returning from Charles University in Prague, Maria will graduate with her MA from The George Washington University Elliott School of International Affairs. She hopes to fulfill her federal service requirement with The US Department of State.
