The Goldwater Scholarship

The Award

The Goldwater Scholarship will provide financial support up to $7,500 to assist with tuition, fees, room, board, and books for her last year as an undergraduate.

At Baylor

Kate was part of the Honors Program and earned her BS in Chemistry. She conducted inorganic chemistry research with Dr. Caleb Martin while also serving as a Chemistry Student Ambassador and President and Spiritual Life Chair in the Honors Residential College.

Her Future

Kate will attend graduate school in chemistry, and after her Ph.D., become a professor, conducting her own research and mentoring students.
