City of Waco: Policy Innovation Fellowship
The Policy Innovation Fellowship, offered by the City of Waco's Housing and Community Development department (HCD), is an 8–10-week, part-time (20 hours/week) opportunity for undergraduate students to integrate policy research, public service, community-based learning, and professional development as they explore civic and social innovation in the realm of housing. Fellows will work as a team and leverage research skills to advance a project that furthers the HCD's innovative capacity in housing and housing policy.
The Policy Innovation Fellowship is designed for students interested in policy, the social sector, local government, community development, and cross-sector collaboration.
As part of the broader Baylor Summer Fellows program, Policy Innovation Fellows will reflect together on who they are, what they are doing, why their work in the community matters, and the impact their experience has on their time at Baylor and beyond.
Applications have closed as of March 1, 2026.
