Baylor Launches Fulbright Application Process

March 21, 2022

Baylor has launched its Fulbright application process for the upcoming award cycle and is now working with students to apply for this life-changing award. Eligible applicants include undergraduates graduating next year, alumni, and graduate students.

Funded by the US Department of State, the Fulbright is a program that awards a chance to spend a year studying, researching, or teaching in another country while serving as a cultural ambassador for the United States. For most Fulbright winners, including the scores of Baylor winners in recent years, it is the experience of a lifetime, launching them toward all manner of future ambitions—whether in medicine, law, public service, or a wide variety of other fields. This year, 52 Baylor students applied for a Fulbright and a record 26 of them are currently finalists. This is an award Baylor students win! In fact, here’s a quick video from a couple of them explaining why you should consider applying.

Baylor has a team of experts who are here to guide you through this process, from introductory information all the way to final submission of an application. To learn more about the Fulbright, the first step is to look at our Baylor Fulbright page, which offers information about the Fulbright application process at Baylor, including recordings of past information sessions, as well as details about upcoming workshops and important dates and deadlines. You will also want to explore the Fulbright US Student Program website.
