The University of Texas at Austin, Electrical & Computer Engineering Department announces the ECE Next Program offering for summer 2024

ECE Next is an undergraduate-to-graduate school bridge program & research internship aimed at increasing interest in and awareness of graduate studies for talented undergraduate students. The ECE Next Program offers workshops that provide the support and self-efficacy tools that students need to move forward from undergraduate to graduate school, while getting involved in summer undergraduate research in the process. 

Summer Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU)– Over the course of the program (June 1 – July 31), ECE Next participants will have the opportunity to: 

·         Work in research labs/groups with faculty, graduate or postdoctoral, and industry researchers 

·         Work in a team on a research problem 

·         Present research in a poster session 

A Stipend, Housing and Dining are included.
