Provost’s Scholars are students who have deepened and sustained their commitments to the discovery of truth, love of neighbor, and flourishing of humanity over the duration of their Baylor careers, and have developed an ability to integrate and effectively apply their scholarship, leadership, and service to the common good. Through a highly selective process, students who become Provost's Scholars will be part of an intellectual community, explore contemporary civic and social issues, and have the opportunity to help direct the future of Baylor. They guide and mentor younger students. They build and foster a community of students working together across disciplines to promote human flourishing. And they work with university leadership to shape the future of the institution so that more students, faculty, and staff can participate in the work of engaged learning for the common good.
