Baylor Will Celebrate Student Research, Scholarship, and Creative Inquiry at the 2026 Baylor Student Research Week Bear Symposium
Baylor University will spotlight outstanding undergraduate and graduate research this spring during Baylor Student Research Week, held April 7–9 in Cashion 506. This annual campus-wide celebration of student scholarship across all disciplines is co-hosted by the Office of Engaged Learning, CEGGS, and the Graduate Student Association (GSA). The event highlights the innovative projects, presentations, and creative works produced by Baylor’s student researchers and their faculty mentors.
Throughout the week, students will present their findings through poster sessions, oral presentations, and demonstrations that showcase Baylor’s commitment to hands-on inquiry and academic excellence. These projects reflect the University’s dedication to preparing students to contribute meaningfully to society’s greatest challenges through research. The Bear Symposium brings the campus community together to recognize exceptional scholarship and the impactful mentorship that supports it.
Abstract submissions are open until March 15.
Faculty, staff, students, and community members are invited to explore the full schedule, presenter details, judging opportunities, and participation guidelines on the Baylor Student Research Week website.
