Kerry Burkley joined the Baylor faculty as a Philanthropy and Public Service Program part-time lecturer in the Spring of 2014. He works as the Associate Director of the Advocacy Center for Crime Victims and Children leading teams of professionals that investigate child sexual and physical abuse cases across six counties. Kerry is a trained forensic interviewer and supervises a team of forensic interviewers to assist investigators gather details from children that allege abuse. He also pastors the Greater Ebenezer Baptist Church of Waco, TX. Pastor Burkley is currently researching racial trauma’s impact of faith practices within the African American community.
