Eliza Denley

Eliza is the Coordinator for Major Fellowships and Awards, primarily working alongside Dr. Daniel Benyousky and Dr. Andy Hogue to support students applying for post-graduate opportunities. As a member of the Office of Engaged Learning’s team, she mentors students applying for scholarships like the Fulbright, the Marshall, and the Rhodes while assisting with other operations to promote student engagement, learning, and leadership. 

Eliza graduated from Baylor in May 2026 as a University Scholar with a secondary major in English. During her undergraduate years, she participated in the Vardaman Scholars Program and served as a teaching assistant for the Office of Engaged Learning’s faculty-led study abroad program to St. Andrews, Scotland in Fall 2025.  

Originally from Louisville, Kentucky, Eliza is grateful to return to the Waco and Baylor communities as a staff member and continue support OEL’s mission. In her free time, Eliza enjoys reading, writing, and spending time outdoors, ideally with friends.
