Eloisa Cruz Arredondo

Eloisa Cruz Arredondo serves as the Program Coordinator for Inspiración Waco an Early Childhood Education program, where she has helped build and oversee the program since its beginning. She holds a master’s degree in Social Work with an emphasis in Families and Children and has dedicated her career to empowering families through education, community support, and early childhood development.

Her journey in the field began during the AVANCE Waco years and has continued through her leadership at Inspiración Waco. Throughout her career, she has served in multiple roles including educator, specialist, and coordinator. She has taught early childhood classrooms, parenting classes, and conducted home visit check-ins to support families holistically.

Raised in a hardworking Latino family, Eloisa’s upbringing deeply shaped her passion for serving others and advocating for families. Her personal experiences gave her a strong understanding of the importance of community, education, and access to opportunities, which continue to guide the work she does today.

Eloisa is passionate about creating strong community partnerships that provide wraparound services and resources for families. She has also established volunteer partnerships with Baylor University professors and students, creating opportunities for students to serve in classrooms while supporting family engagement and learning. Her greatest passion is empowering families and students, helping parents grow into leaders and educators within their own communities, as several former program parents have gone on to become classroom teachers at Inspiración Waco.
