Grant Hall is the Market Garden Manager at World Hunger Relief, where he oversees the cultivation of numerous varieties of fruits and vegetables. He emphasizes the importance of soil health and local seasonality. He has 10 years of gardening and farming experience in a variety of climates.
Before his career in agriculture, Grant worked in Los Angeles, CA, in the film and advertising industries. It was during his time in California that he was captivated by local and sustainable food production. After gardening in any space he could access, Grant moved back to Texas in 2019 to start a regenerative market garden in Northwest Houston before returning to Waco and working for World Hunger Relief in 2023.
Grant’s favorite vegetable is a winter-grown carrot.
