Sky Toney
Sky Toney serves as a regenerative ranching advisor at Noble Research Institute. He received a bachelor’s degree in education and master’s degree in environmental studies from Baylor University and a master’s degree in sustainable agriculture and food environment from Sam Houston State University. Toney grew up in Texas and Oklahoma and, after working internationally for nearly a decade, returned to Waco, where he manages a small family farm. His areas of interest include working in sync with nature by leveraging ecosystem processes for the health of the land, livestock, and livelihood, community collaboration and agricultural advocacy. He is passionate about empowering farmers and ranchers to thrive in a robust, resilient, regenerative food system that prioritizes local agricultural production, equitable access to healthy food, and ecological sustainability.
